Self Supporting

Do you need self supporting tank or a tank liner?*

Our plastic encapsulated support bands:

Additional bands can be added for additional support and less side wall bowing.

OR

The number of bands can also be reduced to save cost. Slightly more bowing may be evident to the eye, but will not affect the structural integrity of the tank.

We use 1 ½" X 1 ½" X ¼ thick wall steel tubing on tanks up to 8' long 4' deep. We use 2", 3", & 4" heavy wall tube for longer and/or deeper tanks.

Can we weld interior baffles with flow holes in the tanks for support?*

Interior baffles "tie" the two walls together and reduce bowing. This can save money by reducing the number of external steel support bands needed.

Do you have size restrictions on the outside of the tank?

(We incorporate encapsulated steel bands for support around the outside of the tank. They add several inches to the length and width of the tank.)
