File Transfer Requirements
We would prefer you to send a
drawing or print for the item that you are requesting pricing
for. Miller Plastics uses AutoCAD 2002 and FeatureCAM software
for programming our CNC machines.
We can manipulate most file formats, but we prefer to receive:
- .IGS format (3D wire frame is preferred)
- .dwg & .dxf (AutoCAD 2002 is preferred)
- .sat format (AutoCAD 3D model)
- .sldprt & .slddrw formats (Solidworks
3D model & 2D drawing)
- .PDF files using Adobe Acrobat
EMAIL: Files may be supplied
via email by attaching them to messages sent to our internet
email address of sales@millerplastics.net. NOTE: Due to email
virus problems, our server will not accept .zip files. Please
attach files in UNZIPPED format.
DISK: Please send only clearly marked IBM compatible
3 1/2" (1.44mb) or IBM-compatible CD-R or CD-RW disks
with prints saved in one of the above formats.
FAX: Our fax number is 724-695-3614. Please
make sure that the drawing is in black ink, as blue ink will
not fax properly.
For all orders, we would appreciate if you will follow up
by mailing high quality copies of drawings to ensure accuracy
and design revision traceability.
